Dear Friends, This Sunday we consider the Holy Gospel according to Luke chapter 16 and verses 19 to 31. This is the story of the rich man and Lazarus. In this story we read of the "great gulf" fixed between the two men at their death. What is the separation all about? How do or can we be separated or connected to God?
We are also asked to consider how we view one another especially as it relates to those in poverty. Consider the words of Psalm 82 where we read: "Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked".
Are we in poverty of life? Do we know those who are? How can we attend to them? The link for the Sunday Bulletin is below: https://7d54cb5f-0d39-4e7e-a88c-a5bda1b86fbc.filesusr.com
