"Orthodox history for 4th of July: The first copy of the Declaration of Independence was printed by Benjamin Franklin using the Caslon English font. Franklin had met William Caslon over 50 years earlier in London when they worked together to print a Gospel book and Psalter in Arabic, with Caslon creating the Arabic font. The project was sponsored by the Anglican missionary society SPCK and the books distributed in the Levant by the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch".
